Rick Fitts Lead Vocals, Master of Ceremonies
Rick Fitts is not only our male lead vocalist; he is an accomplished actor. His long carerr has spanned stage, film, and television. You may have seen him in TNT's new series, Franklin & Bash, or Desperate Housewives, Friends, Seinfeld, Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: Voyager and NYPD Blue. He won a Los Angeles Emmy for the PBS production, American Heroes, which he co-wrote and starred in. In musical theatre, Rick originated many parts in the La Jolla production of The Who's Tommy. Rick's vocals convey soul and playfulness. He is a warm and genuine Masters of Ceremonies, and guests love what Rick brings to an event. www.rickfitts.com
Sean Wiggins Lead Vocals
From her beginnings in the Soho clubs of NYC, Sean Wiggins moved out to Southern California to work with the likes of Edgar Winter, Leslie Gore, Chick Corea, Maxine Nightingale, and Brenton Wood. She has worked The Greek and Universal Amphitheaters to the local clubs as an original and cover artist. Bam Magazine said it well, "Sean Wiggins, a centered and attention-grabbing, blue-eyed soul diva, easily maintained control from the get go." Sean has also recorded with some of LA's top producers and has her original songs featured on various CDs and in independent films. Sean's original, "No Difference," was named Billboard Magazine's Song of the Year in the R&B/Blues category (2002). Vince Suzuki Saxophone & Flute
Vince Suzuki has played and/or recorded with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, The Temptations, The O'Jays, The Stylistics, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The 5th Dimension, Mick Hucknell (Simply Red), REO Speedwagon, Solomon Burke, Eddie Floyd, Otis Day and The Knights, Irma Thomas, Roy Gaines, Mana, Lee Rocker, Ollie Woodson, Frankie Ford, Jerry Corbetta, Brenton Wood, Johnny Adams, Steve Allen, Bob Newhart, Rip Taylor, Ed McHahon, Monte Hall, Foster Brooks, Peter Marshall. Jazz Artists Snooky Young, Conte Candoli, Ross Tompkins, Eric Reed, Brian Bromberg, Phil Upchurch, Oscar Brashear, George Bohanon, Plas Johnson, Ndugu Chancler among others and can be heard on the soundtracks for Norma Jean and Marilyn, (Ashley Judd, Mira Sorvino), Love Her Madly (Ray Manzarek of the Doors) and also on the CD “Lee Rocker” (Stray Cats).
Tim Kobza Guitar & Vocals
Tim Kobza is a multi-talented and respected guitarist and composer/ producer and educator. Tim has had numerous TV/Film credits including: CBS, Steven Spielberg, Felicity, Queer Eye for The Straight Guy, The Bold and the Beautiful, All My Children, 48 Hours Ed and many more. He was film composer for Angels With Angles, a feature film starring Rodney Dangerfield and Frank Gorshen (Warner Bros.). Performance and recording credits include: Jon B , Steven Perkins (Drummer Janes Addiction), Jimmy Haslip, Keller Williams, Korrupt, James Torme, Branscumb Richmond and The Renegade Posse, song writers Marylyn and Allen Bergman ( The Way We Were) and Modereko a jam band he cofounded with John Molo (Drummer Phil and Friends, John Fogerty) . Tim has a published book entitled, “Blues Guitar Lessons Volume 3” and has taught in the USC Studio Jazz Guitar Department since 1995. Tim has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas in Jazz Guitar Performance and a Master’s Degree in Studio-Jazz Guitar Performance from USC.
David Page Drums
David Page has toured or recorded with many well-known acts, including extended touring with Gary Puckett & the Union Gap, but he prefers the R&B, Funk, and Soul styles. David has conducted Drum Master Classes and Clinics for major drum companies at NAMM and other trade shows. David is a very active session drummer in Los Angeles, but he has chosen to play live gigs with RamFunkshus because he loves this music and this band! David lays down the dance groove that is the heartbeat of RamFunkshus, providing the rhythmic foundation that allows the band to create its distinctive combination of excitement and fun.
Trent Stroh Bass & Vocals
Trent Stroh is in high demand for his formidable skills as a bassist, vocalist, and teacher. After attending the prestigious Dick Grove School of Music, Trent was very active in L.A.’s thriving original music and cover band scene, playing major clubs and venues such as The Roxy,The Whiskey,The Troubador, Coconut Teaser, and The Country Club. In 1995, he became a member of the Eddie Money band,devoting 7 years in touring domestically and internationally as well as recording two albums with the iconic rock singer. His other performance and recording credits include:Nancy Sinatra, America, Robert Palmer, Air Supply, Wayne Kramer(MC5), Patrick Simmons (DOOBIE BROTHERS), Jon Parr, Clem Burke(BLONDIE). Pete Thomas (ELVIS COSTELLO), Don Randi & Hal Blaine (THE WRECKING CREW), The Boneshakers featuring Randy Jacobs and Sweet Pea Atkinson. In RamFunkshus, Trent is loved for both his bass groove that is locked-in with Dave's drums and his outstanding high tenor lead and harmony vocals.
Barry Reynolds Keyboards & Vocals
Barry Reynolds played in bands in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1960s, working alongside such notables as John Tristao of Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Steve Price of Pablo Cruise. In the eighties, he re-emerged as a songwriter. Producers associated with Stevie Wonder, Klymaxx, and others have selected his dance songs for consideration in major recording projects. Barry studied piano in the Jazz Studies Program at USC from 1995 until 1998. In 1998, he assembled the current lineup of RamFunkshus. Barry loves to add rhythmic drive and jazz/gospel textures with his piano/organ playing. He thrills at adding baritone and low tenor background vocals, often nailing third harmony parts that most bands neglect. Barry is the business leader of the group and handles much of the event planning and coordination.
